| Palaeography: | CISP: The lettering is Insular half-uncial. The L appears to have a wedge-shaped finial. The R is half-uncial. The A has a flat top-stroke and a vertical stroke on the right side of the bow, and a short flourish from the bottom right of the bow. This is paralleled elsewhere at Clonmacnoise on CLMAC/228 and CLMAC/235. The E is in the closed minuscule form with an angular bow. |
