| Palaeography: | CISP: The lettering is Insular half-uncial. The A is in the 'OC' form, but remarkably, also with an open bow. This is the only such example at Clonmacnoise. The H is minuscule, the L curved and the N has a curved top stroke, while the U has a curved bottom stroke and a descender which extends below this. |
