| Palaeography: | CISP: The inscription is in half-uncial. The intial OR has a contraction mark over it, and is preceded by a textual cross; the Es are three-pronged and rounded, the Ds are open-bowed with a vertical ascender; the second A is in the `OC' form; the R is majuscule, the ascender of the B has a wedge-shaped finial, as may the L. The A/E in MAEL may be ligatured. |
