| Palaeography: | CISP: The lettering is Insular half-uncial. The initial L has a wedge-shaped finial and the S is in the classic half-uncial form. The E is in the open uncial form with an extended central stroke. The three Ns are each quite angular with a flat top and an almost perpendicular join with the right ascender. They each aslo have a short extension to the left from the top of the left ascender. The two lines are not straight but are slightly curved. |
