Macalister/1945, 150--151: `This stone - a small fragment - appears to have been left behind on the site and is no longer to be found. The wood block, here reproduced, was prepared for Bishop Graves from a drawing by Hitchcock; but the inscription is evidently too fragmentary, and the copy too uncertain, to tell us anything'. Cuppage/etal/1986, 252: `Hitchcock noted an 8th ogham stone at the site with fragmentary traces of an inscription...This has not been located'. |
